A letter from the Secretary of the British Thyroid Association re membership
Membership Department
British Thyroid Association
PO Box 97

You
will find here information about the benefits of joining
the BTA as well as a membership application
form with details about subscription rates. Subscriptions are
payable by cheque as well as by standing order – details are on the enclosed
membership form.
Please
return the completed form, signed by yourself as well as by a proposer and a
seconder, to the Membership Department at the above address. On receipt of your form and membership fee
you will be granted provisional membership for the rest of this year and your
membership will then start the following year after the Annual General Meeting
which is usually in March or April.
I would like to take this opportunity to mention The British Thyroid Foundation
(BTF), a registered charity with which we have strong links. We are grateful to them for the administrative
support which they provide to the BTA. The BTF helps sufferers of thyroid disorders and their families,
as well as raising awareness and funds for research.
For details about the BTF, click here.
I would strongly urge you to consider joining the BTF and supporting
their work. If this is done at the
same time as joining the BTA, both organisations are able to offer you discounted
subscription rates. Please see the
membership renewal form for details.
I would also like to draw to your attention the Thyroid Eye Disease
Association, a registered charity and support group. You may wish to support their work by becoming a member. Please write direct to them for details at
the following address:
